As an awful lot as I love my Facebook friends there are some programs that I do not want or want to see clogging up my information feed. The utility can be eliminated from the news feed, even though it isnt apparent, and also you may not have to de-pal your first boyfriend.
For this example, lets use Hmm I dont know How about Mafia Wars? While I am thrilled that so many people experience gambling this on Facebook, I am no longer playing and the reputation updates telling me you simply got a brand new gun or killed the horrific man mean absolutely nothing to me. And when I surely busy and am seeking to get caught up, they may be completely stressful.
So right heres what you do.
Login to Facebook and go to your Home web page
On the left is the information feed. Click at the More Link to view a list of programs.
By choosing on of the Applications (ahem
Mafia Wars) you can filter the news feed to handiest show Mafia Wars updates.
Hover over one of the fame updates and a hidden Hide button will magically appear. Yes, common sense would not apply when we should unhide the conceal button.
Click at the Hide button. It will ask you to pick out whether or not you want to cover the individual that has the update or the Application. Since I love my pals, Im going to select to Hide the Application (Mafia Wars). And then poof! It is long gone.
The news feed will now be empty due to the fact we had filtered it to most effective display updates from the application we just removed. Just click on on News Feed at the top left and you may see all the updates once more.
